This blog is about my visit to a mentally disabled and hearing impaired school at sivakasi. The visit was just a formal one..i had been there for nearly 3 hours..which really made me to think about…lot of things. When I entered there..a smart boy ran towards me..and holded my hands.. He told everything about the school and they r doing..and such things..n he accompanied me for more than 1 hr…I was amazed to see those special buddies..Actually those people are excellent in making this such as note books , candles and few others..they have been studying there for 2 years on their own cost..Though they have parents,those parents simply give some money to the school and simply leave them all the way..i was then talking to the staffs about the children.they told that all the products prepared by them being sold to the market.without any other taxes r anything else… I was completely out of my state…I dedcided to depart..here comes important thing which I really want to share wid u.. The boy who accompanied me started to tell me something” Anna,people say I m not like other person.every body say that m something different. Even my parents do not want to keep me with them..wat I have done for them..and he asked me took a photo..he was very interested in seeing his face..then he started”Anna,when ll u come again”…I promised him that I wud come soon and will bring some sweets..he “Anna, I don’t want chocolates or any sweets..i want some affection and love from..could u please give me”..then i cud not stop tears coming from my eyes.what else could I have answered….The staffs came and told me that the boy z mentally disabled buddy..when he joined in the school..he did not know who he was..i was really amazed abt his present condtion….he outsmarted every one..sure he is…The thing I try to say is that these kind of peole never expects money or sweets..they simply need our kindness and affection……
This is not the matter that how much I eat,earn,spent,……but how much we have humanity..kindness and care….towards other.
